Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen
It was in the year 1996 that I retired from the service. And after another nineteen years I am in front of you to receive the Veterans’ crest.
To us including my family servicing in the Armed Forces and its lifestyle has been highly satisfying. My son and daughter had the best education . We are truly grateful to the various educational institutions in Army and Air Force.
Being a doctor I have to keep myself busy professionally as well as socially. As it was in the service even today at my working place I have always emphasized my colleagues to give the best to everybody.
As a matter of fact till now my conception of leadership is based on loyalty and love, command on cooperation, management on morality and administration on education.
The candle of life is softly glowing and melting in glorious affection and kindness, and the beautiful sky is dropping rain of mercy over the valley of heart, growing emerald green grass of softness and beauty.
Till now , it has been a wonderful time, I feel great because the people and places I cherish to remember, i.e. RAOWA, has given us love, understanding & forgiveness.
Last but not the least I will request RAOWA to evolve a system amongst ourselves so that we can extend our hands more effectively when one of its members is suffering from immobility, instability, incontinence, intellectual impairment, impaired senses and bed sore. It will really glorify the spirit of ‘Spirit de core.’
As we, yes I and my family, say good bye to you all.
You also wish us a successful journey.
Thank you all.
